In addition, feel free to request another language-speaking translator (Russian, Italian, or Spanish) for a group tour. Make sure to give us a note before reserving the tour. Note that non-English-speaking tour guides will be subject to availability, and extra charges will be applied.
Day 1: ARRIVAL MAKASSAR
Upon your arrival at Makassar International Airport, your guide will pick you up from the airport. After a meet and greet, you will drive to the hotel for the night.

If you arrive at Makassar Airport before 12:00, we will visit Ramang Village. Escape from the hustle and bustle of Makassar City, located in Maros Regency. Soon, when you jump into the traditional canoe and paddle through the Puteh River, which is surrounded by the Karst Tower, limestone cliffs, and Nypa Fruticans, you will feel the cool breeze of the countryside. After half an hour of paddling among the beautiful scenery, you will enjoy a soft trek, visiting Passaung Cave, a small cave with some prehistoric drawings inside. Back to the river and paddle again for another 15 minutes to Berua village, which is surrounded by limestone cliffs. The word “Berua,” taken from the Makassarese language, means new.” Another soft trek around the virgin Berua village and experiencing the local life Lunch will be served at one of the local houses. After lunch, paddle out of the village and enjoy other soft trekking among Karst Tower or Limestone Park. The stone forest area is very wide. Then drive back to Makassar for the night.
DAY 02: MAKASSAR, PALOPO, AND TORAJA
Makassar-Palopo by Wings Air
Depart at 09:40. Arrive in Palopo at 10:30.
Enjoy your breakfast, check out of your hotel, and transfer to the airport for a flight to Palopo. After our arrival in Palopo, we will drive for 2 hours to Toraja through a very scenic road. Arrive in Toraja Land and start to visit the fascinating villages of Toraja with the unique Tongkonan Houses, which shape like a ship bow and stern. LEMO, graveyard on the cliff Afternoon: visit LONDA, an ancient natural grave, and see puppets on the balcony representing the dead. KETEKESU, a traditional Toraja village

Day 03: TORAJA TOUR
This morning after breakfast, if the schedule permits, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the bustling life of the Torajan’s with a visit to their once-a-week traditional Buffalo market in Bolu. This market is important to the local society as buffalos and pigs are an essential part of the intricate funeral ceremony. Note: Bolu Market depends on the schedule and is only held twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday. In case there is no market on the day you visit, we will replace it with a visit to a local market in Rantepao or on the next day. Later, visit Batumonga, a mountainous area with fantastic scenery passing through the green paddy field. On the way, visit the rock graves. Soft trekking passes through the village to see the way of life of the Toraja people. PALAWA, the oldest village in Toraja, has old Tongkonan houses and rice barns surrounded. Then visit BORI, the stone showing the existence of the funeral site of the clan. Afternoon, visit Nanggala, a traditional village with fantastic Tongkonan houses surrounded. MARANTE, the hanging graves If you want to see a local market, please ask your guide to make a stop before returning to the hotel.
