DAY 01:

Pick up by our tour guide or driver at the airport

Transfer to the harbor for about twenty minutes. Meet the crew, then go to Tanjung Puting National Park. You will enter a river called Sungai Sekonyer.
Spotting wildlife from the boat, while lunch will be served on Klotok, you are boating up for about two hours to get to the first camp called Tanjung Harapan. It is time to see the orangutan at 15:00 p.m. You will take a walk for about twenty-five minutes to get to the place where orangutans feed. After you see the orangutan, you go back to the Klotok and continue to see proboscis monkeys; they normally hang on the trees in the afternoon.

When the time gets dark, the boat will park for trekking at night at Pondok Ambung. You have the possibility of seeing a glowing mushroom, a nightingale bird, a tarantula, and a centipede.
You may skip this program if you have a phobia or are scared of any animal.

Dinner will be served on Klotok, and then the crew will set up your bed, mosquito net, and blanket. Let nature wake you up in the morning, and coffee will welcome your day in nature.

Day 02:

After breakfast, you will do some short trekking and spot wildlife at Pondok Ambung or Pondok Tanggui. When you’re ready, walk back to the Klotok and head straight to the legendary Camp Leakey. This camp became a legend because the first systematic research and study of orangutans was conducted here in the 1970s. It’s long-term research and keeps going on at present. The cook at Klotok will serve you lunch on board before you’re off to explore the camp.

The feeding time in Camp Leakey begins at 14:00 PM, and it takes around 40 minutes to trek from the jetty to the feeding platform. You may experience close encounters with wild orangutans in Leakey Camp. It’s the best location for taking photographs of orangutans in the wild. However, it’s strongly recommended to keep a safe distance from orangutans.

Free time in the evening.

Dinner and stay overnight on the boat.

DAY 03:

After breakfast, Klotok will proceed to the jetty of Pondok Tanggui Camp.

From the jetty, it takes around 30 minutes to trek to the feeding platform. The feeding time in Pondok Tanggui begins at 09:00 AM. From Pondok Tanggui, Klotok will cruise to Pesalat. Lunch will be served on board.

Klotok will take you to the jetty of the Pesalat reforestation area. It takes around 35 minutes to get there.
From the jetty, trek 25 minutes to the reforestation area. Here, we can contribute by planting one tree or two. Our local non-government organization partner, the Friends of National Park (, will look after your trees.

You may find a congregation of proboscis monkeys sitting on branches of trees along the riverbank in the late afternoon. When it gets dark, Klotok will stop at the Nipah Palm area; this is a place to see fireflies and boat parks on a riverbank.
