Itinerary

The MV Samambaia offers personalized and unique cruises through the stunning Indonesian waters, with each trip tailored to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for guests. The itinerary for the 11-night / 12-day cruise from Serangan (Bali) to Labuan Bajo (Flores) showcases the diverse beauty of the region and the incredible underwater world it holds.

Day 1: Embarkation

Guests are welcomed aboard in the port of Serangan, Bali, with a general orientation provided.

Day 2: Lombok

Three dives are planned in the waters near the Gili Islands, offering the opportunity to explore fantastic critter spots and encounter marine life such as Frogfish, Ghost pipefish, and Seahorses.

Day 3: Moyo & Satonda

Two dives at Moyo provide the chance to experience fishy walls in pristine conditions, followed by a relaxed dive at Satonda. An afternoon excursion to a beautiful crater lake adds to the adventure.

Day 4: Sangeang

Dive at the active volcano of Sangeang, known for superb black sand critter hunting and unique underwater landscapes shaped by volcanic activity.

Day 5: Banta

Explore dive sites around Banta Island, including the spectacular ‘Banta Wall’ and a secret Manta cleaning station. Enjoy trekking and a night dive in the area.

Days 6-7: Komodo – The North

Discover signature dive sites such as ‘Crystal Rock’ and ‘Castle Rock’ in the northern part of Komodo National Park, renowned for encounters with sharks, jacks, and other marine life.

Day 7: Komodo Central & Rinca

Explore top dive sites like ‘Tatawa Besar’ and ‘Manta Point’ before trekking with Komodo dragons on Rinca Island. End the day with a night dive at Wai Nilu.

Day 8: Rinca Trekking, then heading for Nusa Kode

Morning trekking with Komodo dragons followed by diving in the lush waters of Nusa Kode, rich in critters and vibrant coral reefs.

Day 9: Nusa Kode

Continue diving in Horseshoe Bay with opportunities to encounter a variety of marine life, including Ambon Scorpionfish and Rhinopias. End the day with a night dive at Pantar Island.

Day 10-11: Komodo Central & North

Spend another full day exploring the heart of Komodo National Park, with world-class dive sites and the possibility of visiting secret spots.

Day 11: Komodo Central

Enjoy up to two more dives before slowly heading back towards Labuan Bajo, with a stopover at a perfect beach in the afternoon.

Day 12: Disembarkation in Labuan Bajo

Guests disembark in Labuan Bajo, with the crew assisting with luggage and shuttle service to the airport based on flight schedules.
