Itinerary
Day 1 – Sorong Arrival & Check-In on Liveaboard
Arrive at Sorong Airport (SOQ) in the morning. Our team will greet you and transfer you to the harbour for check-in on the liveaboard. After a welcome drink and safety briefing, settle into your cabin and meet the cruise director and dive/snorkel guides.
Depart from Sorong and cruise towards the Central Raja Ampat area. In the afternoon, enjoy your check dive / first easy snorkel on a nearby reef to relax after the flight and adjust your gear. Sunset on the deck, followed by dinner and a trip briefing for the days ahead.
Day 2 – Dampier Strait: Manta & Reef Action
Wake up in the famous Dampier Strait. After an early breakfast, head out for your first dive or snorkel at a vibrant reef packed with schooling fish and soft corals.
Later, visit a known manta cleaning station (seasonal) where you may encounter graceful manta rays gliding above the reef. In the afternoon, explore another reef or shallow coral garden ideal for snorkelers. Return to the boat for sunset views and a relaxed evening under the stars.
Day 3 – Arborek & Surrounding Reefs
Today you visit the charming Arborek Island. Enjoy a dive or snorkeling session at the famous Arborek Jetty, known for dense fish schools, soft corals, and macro life.
After lunch, relax on the white-sand beach or walk through the small village to see local life and handicrafts. In the afternoon, continue with another dive/snorkel at a nearby reef rich in marine biodiversity. Overnight navigation towards the northern areas.
Day 4 – Wayag or Piaynemo (Iconic Karst Islands)
Arrive in one of Raja Ampat’s iconic lagoon areas such as Wayag or Piaynemo (depends on boat permit and weather). Early in the morning, hike up to the famous viewpoint, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of turquoise lagoons and limestone islets.
After the trek, cool off with a swim or snorkel in the clear lagoon. In the afternoon, enjoy another dive/snorkel at nearby reefs featuring dramatic underwater topography, sea fans, and schooling fish. Sunset BBQ or special dinner on board.
Day 5 – Remote Reefs & Hidden Lagoons
Today is dedicated to exploring more remote reef systems. Enjoy two or three dives/snorkel sessions at spots known for healthy coral gardens, pelagic encounters, and colourful reef fish.
Between activities, relax on the sun deck, read a book, or simply take in the peaceful island scenery. If conditions allow, the crew may take you on a tender boat tour through hidden lagoons and mangrove channels where the water is crystal clear and calm.
Day 6 – Central Raja Ampat: Biodiversity Hotspots
Return towards central Raja Ampat to visit some of the area’s biodiversity hotspots. Morning and midday dives/snorkels focus on sites rich in coral, pygmy seahorses, reef sharks, and large schools of fusiliers and jacks.
In the afternoon, you may have the chance to do a drift dive/snorkel in a gentle current, drifting along walls covered with soft corals and sea fans. Evening at leisure, with stargazing from the upper deck.
Day 7 – Dampier Strait & Village Visit
Another day in the Dampier Strait, combining reef exploration with cultural experiences. After a morning dive/snorkel, the boat will visit a local Papuan village where you can meet the community, see traditional houses, and purchase local handicrafts.
In the late afternoon, enjoy the final dive/snorkel of the day at a site known for sweetlips, turtles, and vibrant coral bommies. Farewell dinner on board and slideshow or trip recap with the crew.
Day 8 – Final Dives & Cruise Back to Sorong
This is your last full day on the water. Depending on your flight schedule for the next day, you may still have one or two morning dives/snorkels (respecting no-fly time).
